Being on tour can be tough on your body. Between performing shows, rehearsing, packing and traveling, I have found it extremely helpful to use massage therapy to alleviate tension, muscle soreness and stress. After getting massages in various cities across the country, I found Intuitive Bodywork during my stay in San Francisco. Richard was absolutely the best body-worker I have encountered during my travels. He took the time to get to know what I was looking to achieve with the massage and tailored the session to my specific needs. He was professional and created a safe, calming environment and was interested in understanding the life of a performer. Richard was fantastic in every way and not only did I return for a second session but many of my cast members also scheduled appointments during our stay. I would definitely recommend him to fellow performers and encourage theater organizations in San Francisco to utilize his talent and convenient location.

I have had a lot of massages over the years and I was blown away by Richard's touch. I needed a massage and within ten minutes of searching I luckily found Rich and he was available immediately. Richard is an all-around special human being. Massage therapy is obviously only an extension of his sincere focus on spreading happiness and well-being to everyone he meets. I've had massages/therapy from lots of different branches of the varied world of hands on care, in many different parts of the world. Most were well educated and fully experienced, but none has come close to providing the combination of physical, emotional and spiritual relief that Richard has in store for his clients. Richard is wonderful at massage and wonderful at life! His massage experience is unique. He takes the time to get to know what your needs are and will focus on those areas. I have to let everyone know, that a massage can only be a massage ---but Richard's massage is more than a massage - the feeling can be spiritual as well as relaxing. I have had my shares of massages, but Richard by far is the BEST!!! INCREDIBLE pair of hands to say the least. I use him at least once a month - if you have not had a chance to get a massage from him, you are missing out big time!

Wow....I have had a lot of massages and this was the best, there is something amazing about his hands, and he's cute :-). Anyways, he was really easy to talk to and open to focus on the areas I wanted. He was totally professional and sincere. I will definitely be back.

I'm an acupuncturist and have had the privilege of working with and being treated by a number of body workers. Richard is quite simply the best I've ever met. He combines an innate gift for healing with extensive training, having studied and practiced all over the world. I just wish he still practiced near where I live so I could refer patients to him, and see him myself, because I've honestly never felt better after getting a massage.

I have been getting massages for a long time, actually I think i may be addicted to them...this was one of the best, deeply relaxing massages I have ever had, he knew exactly where I liked it. Coming from England it is often quite hard to get a good massage, and I'm afraid to say that I have had the similar problem here. I was over in San Francisco for a business trip last week and I desperately needed a massage. A friend recommended Richard, and it turned out to be the best massage I have ever had. I highly recommend him.

Rich is a total professional and he listened to all my requests and worked directly on the areas that I mentioned were sore and hurting.This is the best massage going and to boot, it was in my own house. 10minutes after he was out the door I was in a hot bath, trying to keep from drowning I was so damn relaxed. Why go to someones office when the massage comes to you? The next day my neck pain was all gone and it still feels great a week later
